Course Content To provide the delegates with a broad range of skills adn knowledege in relating to environmental matters in the construction industry.

By the end of the course delegates should have an awareness of:
  • The environment and why it is important
  • Environmental Management Systems
  • Waste Management
  • Pollution prevention and water management
  • Being a good neighbour - statutory nuisance, communication, acheology and heritage
  • Energy and resources
  • Being a responsible contractor
The course will enable the delegates to focus on best practice techniques and legal compliance
Course Aims This course is aimed at staff with management or supervisory responsibilities providing them with a thorough introduction to environmental issues on construction sites.
It is designed to meet the basic environmental knowledge that the sub-contract chain are required to prove to major contractors.
Examination Board CITB - Cskills
Assessment There will be a 25 question mulitple choice examination at the end of the course, successful delegates will receive a CSkills Certificate valid for 5 years
